Tissue Culture Flask
Surface treated tissue culture flasks are sterile culture flasks made of polystyrene suitable for growth of adherent cells. They are available in different surface areas (12.5 – 225 cm2) and volumes (3 – 70 ml) long with two cap styles which can be used in both open and closed systems.
Closed Cap: Standard polyethylene caps for use of flasks in closed systems. Can also be used in open systems by keeping one thread loose.
Vented Cap: Vented polyethylene caps with a 0.22 μm hydrophobic filter to allow gas exchange and minimize risk of cross-contamination.
